This past November, Wed Society San Antonio hosted our inaugural Connect Event and the vibes were immaculate. Wedding pros from San Antonio and the surrounding areas came together for a beautiful morning full of creativity and connection, offering inspiration for weddings in the year ahead! We absolutely adored working with the talented San Antonio wedding community and were thrilled to host this event to highlight their work & learn from one another.

Brandy of All in the Details Events worked magic to make her vision a reality, with The Witte Museum providing the most perfect atmosphere in the Dawson Family Hall. Olive Thyme blew everyone away with their stunning florals, including large installations on the stage, accent florals throughout the room and oversized paper florals for the content studio.

The stage came to life with a custom facade by Scarlet Rose Collective and lounge furniture by Loot Rentals. Music sets the mood for everything, and our event was no exception! Gaines Entertainment set the atmosphere with Ryan Youmans on sax adding a smooth, jazzy vibe to the event. Attendees didn’t to leave their seats with comfortable tables & chair rentals provided by Bright Event Rentals and BBJ La Tavola’s luxe linens tying it all together.

Brunch bites from My Asukar (seriously, those mini avocado toasts!), delectable sweet treats by 2Tarts Bakery, and a Bloody Mary bar from Peak Beverage kept everyone talking about the delicious flavors. Guests left with custom bouquets from Piper Rose Floral’s Flower Cart – talk about a perfect souvenir!

Our panelists Kaitlin Rodgers of Atlas Weddings & Co, Matthew Alvarado of Matthew Alvarado Co & Winston Gaines (aka DJ Gumby) of Gaines Entertainment led a valuable discussion around the changes we are seeing in the industry as we transition from primarily Millenial to Gen Z couples. We learned that the way Gen Z uses social media looks a little bit different from older generations, but that social media is no less important for wedding vendors – so it was perfect that Content by Clarice hosted a content studio to film some quick video content for attendees.

And let’s not forget Stella Shots Media, who captured every unforgettable detail and who’s images highlighted the beautiful craftmanship and professionalism of all the participating vendors.

Finally, a huge THANK YOU to all of our Member Vendors! San Antonio’s wedding pros know how to show up and show out – here’s to more collaboration as we elevate San Antonio weddings in 2025!
