Jacqueline and Tyler Waterer’s wedding at The Tobin Center was a masterclass in making non-traditional choices feel absolutely perfect. Planned and designed by All In The Details, their day skipped the wedding party and cake in favor of intentional, meaningful touches that told their unique love story. Every beautiful moment was captured by Matthew Alvarado, whose photography perfectly documented their vibrant celebration.
The couple’s custom Waterer rose crest became the thread weaving through every detail, a stunning visual element that elevated their entire design. Hand-drawn by London-based designer Ofelia Botella, the intricate crest incorporated the Waterer rose as a meaningful nod to Tyler’s last name and their family heritage. This beautiful custom design appeared everywhere from menu ribbons and bouquet accents to the welcome sign, seating chart, and custom bar, creating a cohesive signature look throughout their celebration. “What makes the wedding extra special is we tried to use the Waterer rose since Tyler’s last name is Waterer and they have a special connection to the flower,” shared their planner Melissa from All In The Details.
Instead of a traditional cake, Jacqueline honored her Mexican roots with a pan dulce bar from Panadería Jiménez, featuring treats she grew up loving. NY bodega-style coffee cups paid tribute to the city where they met, while custom matchbooks reading “Los Waterers” added playful personality throughout the celebration.
The Tobin Center’s unique performing arts setting allowed for creative touches that delighted guests. Outdoor digital screens welcomed attendees and cycled through engagement photos during cocktail hour, while custom facade banners became an unexpected photo opportunity that surprised even Tyler!
But the night’s most unforgettable moment came with their epic second entrance. While guests danced away, Jacqueline changed into a rhinestone-embroidered Prada mini dress with silver cowboy boots, and Tyler swapped his bow tie for a matching Prada bolo tie. Their grand return was perfectly timed to Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” transitioning into “Copperhead Road,” with their entire family joining them on the dance floor in cowboy boots, two-stepping and embracing the Texas spirit.
Jacqueline looked absolutely radiant throughout the day, with flawless hair and makeup by Veil Artistry that perfectly complemented both her ceremony look and her show-stopping outfit change.
“Our favorite moment of the day was definitely our ceremony,” Jacqueline shared. “Having my sister officiate made it incredibly special for us. She beautifully wove together stories of who we are as individuals and how we complement each other so perfectly.”
