When Sabryna and Eddie chose Alexander Vineyards in Fredericksburg for their celebration, they were making history, this would be the very first wedding at the vineyard. Their original plan was to celebrate under the stars, but rain in the forecast called for Atlas Weddings and Co. to transform the vision into something even more spectacular. Moving everything into an intimate tent created the most romantic, candlelit atmosphere that brought all the dark and moody elegance of Italy straight to the Texas Hill Country.

The couple’s vision centered around food, wine, and baroque Italian design. Austin Event Lighting set the mood with dramatic lighting, while Dark and Bloomy Floral created arrangements in varying shades of red to complement the Italian themes. Hundreds of candles mingled with lush florals and fresh fruits scattered across the tables.

Honoring both heritages, Revel Catering set up dual food stations featuring Italian and Mexican cuisine. During their ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, they embraced the lasso tradition, and guests received confetti (white sugar-coated almonds) and homemade limoncello as favors. Their beloved Corgi, Barnaby, appeared everywhere through table numbers, reception cutouts, and their own business, Barnaby’s Italian Ice, which they proudly served to guests.

One of the sweetest moments of the ceremony? Flower grandmas making their way down the aisle, a truly heartwarming and joyful touch.

The bride shared that their favorite moment was walking into cocktail hour and hearing the live saxophone player. “Before we even got engaged, we used to talk about how the only must-have for our wedding would be to have a saxophone player,” she explained. Hype Rhythm kept the party going all night and even let the bride hop on the drums for the final song, Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.”

When the unexpected rain rolled in, the couple learned the importance of having the right team. “When we walked into the reception space, our jaws dropped at how beautifully everything came together. It was beyond anything we imagined,” Sabryna shared. From flower grandmas to surprise saxophones to that unforgettable drum solo finale, this first-ever Alexander Vineyards wedding proved that the best celebrations happen when you embrace the unexpected and surround yourself with people who bring your wildest dreams to life. 🍷
