Picture saying your vows surrounded by koi ponds, cascading waterfalls, and the kind of lush, ancient beauty that makes you feel like the rest of the world has completely disappeared. That’s exactly the setting Kassandra and Raemundo chose for their intimate ceremony at the San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden, and honestly? We can’t think of a more magical backdrop for two people choosing each other.

The intimate ceremony felt intentional in every detail — from the bridesmaids in soft light green dresses carrying elegant fans that added a graceful, breezy touch to the garden setting, to Kassandra in her gorgeous bridal gown from I Do The Dress I Do.

After the ceremony, the celebration shifted to Hot Joy, San Antonio’s beloved eclectic Asian-American restaurant, for a reception that had to be one of the most fun and unexpected pairings we’ve seen. There’s something so perfect about a ceremony steeped in serene garden beauty followed by a reception full of bold flavor and serious good vibes. Because why not have both?

Infinite Photography SA truly delivered with every single shot from this day — the quiet tenderness of the ceremony by the cascading waterfall, the lush garden light filtering through the trees, and then the moody, electric atmosphere inside Hot Joy for the reception. We are forever obsessed with how beautifully the contrast between those two settings translated in their photos. Scroll through below — you are not going to want to miss these!
