Vows That Wow: Each month, our editors review dozens of San Antonio weddings and select the best of the best to feature as our Vows that Wow.

When a florist says her only wedding requirement is to be surrounded by her favorite blooms, you know it’s going to be something special. But when that same bride spends a year growing those flowers herself and designs a custom circular ceremony platform nestled in a meadow of blooms? That’s when dreams become reality.

Ále and Nathan’s intimate celebration at their family’s flower farm outside San Antonio was everything a garden wedding should be—romantic, meaningful, and breathtakingly beautiful. From the start, Ále knew exactly which flowers she wanted. With Jamie of A Timeless Soirée by her side, the planning process became a true collaboration: a bride with a vision and a planner with the creativity to bring it all to life.

Jamie curated linens to highlight each bloom and paired them with vibrant seasonal fruits, adding playful color throughout the design. What began as a lakeside ceremony shifted into something even more enchanting when she suggested moving the vows beneath two towering oak trees at the ranch entrance. There, Ále and Nathan exchanged vows on a custom-built circular stage, surrounded by a 360° flower meadow that looked as if it had grown there naturally.

The most magical detail? Ále and Nathan had designed their garden landscape a year in advance and grew many of the very flowers that adorned their wedding. The ‘Queeny Lime Blush’ zinnias and lavender cosmos tucked into centerpieces came straight from their own flower farm, and in the middle of all the wedding-day excitement, Ále of Petále Haus built her own bridal bouquet from those very blooms. The idea that a bride not only grew her flowers but created her bouquet on the very day she said “I do” feels almost poetic, and it’s no surprise Ále still calls it one of her favorite bouquets she’s ever held.

With fewer than 30 loved ones in attendance, the couple walked down the aisle hand in hand “as partners stepping into our new chapter.” Ále shared. Their most cherished moment was standing in their flower meadow, surrounded by the people who meant the most to them.

Guests later gathered at one long table dressed in patterned BBJ La Tavola linens and elegant Illusions Rentals dinnerware. The cozy setting encouraged conversation and connection, making dinner feel warm, magical, and everything they had ever dreamed of.

The cake, crafted by Cute Lil’ Cookie Jar, was effortlessly chic. Its textured sage-green buttercream carried a whimsical charm that blended effortlessly with the garden setting. Both playful and elegant, it was the perfect sweet reflection of their homegrown celebration.

The couple added plenty of personal touches too, like custom Pringles cans labeled “The Pringles” (their new last name) as playful favors. And can we talk about Ále’s bridal look? Her favorite detail was her stunning nails by Julianna Davis, the finishing touch that made her feel polished from head to toe.

But let’s be honest, their love story is just as beautiful as their wedding day! The two first connected on Bumble in fall 2021, and what started as effortless conversation quickly deepened into something more. In a serendipitous twist, Nathan’s farm was only 0.3 miles from Ále’s dad’s ranch, her father had even been buying hay from Nathan all along! “Love finds you when you’re ready,” Ále shared, “and sometimes in the most surprising ways.
