What an incredible evening.
Last month, Wed Society San Antonio gathered alongside some of the city’s most talented wedding professionals to celebrate the release of our 2026 Book of Weddings. The evening was more than just a launch party—it was a celebration of the creative community that makes San Antonio weddings so extraordinary.
Hosted at the beautiful Coates Chapel at UTSA Southwest, the venue provided a timeless setting for an evening filled with meaningful connections, inspiring conversations, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass.
From the moment guests arrived, every detail reflected the heart of our community. Sweet August Events thoughtfully designed and planned the celebration, creating an elegant, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly captured the excitement surrounding this year’s publication.
Guests were greeted with celebratory bubbles from Carter Creek before enjoying an unforgettable culinary experience from Rosemary’s Catering, complete with a roaming caviar service by The Cupcake Bar. Throughout the evening, Dart Collective kept the energy high with music that brought the celebration to life.
Beautiful florals by Petalé Haus and Freesia Designs transformed the space, while luxurious rentals from Luxe Tabletop, Illusions Rentals & Designs, Bright Event Rentals, BBJ La Tavola, and Loot Rentals created an elevated guest experience. Custom details—including paper goods by The Girl General, statement pieces from Statue of Design, a custom dance floor by Scarlet Rose Collective, and stylish signage from Backstory Backdrops—made every corner of the event feel thoughtfully curated. Austin Event Lighting added the perfect finishing touch with dynamic lighting that elevated the entire evening.
Guests also enjoyed handcrafted desserts from Asukar, signature bar service from Bartenders4You and Black Label Bar Co., a retro enclosed photo booth from MBP Photo Booth, and studio portraits by Dillon Ross Kirk. Every unforgettable moment was beautifully documented by Macy Kasner Photo and Squinted Cinema, while Pink Cake ensured the fashion styling was just as polished as the event itself.
Most importantly, the evening was an opportunity to celebrate the incredible vendors, members, and friends who continue to shape San Antonio’s wedding industry. The 2026 Book of Weddings represents countless hours of creativity, collaboration, and dedication from wedding professionals across the city, and we couldn’t be more honored to showcase their work.
