Sarah and Aaron Grimes’ wedding perfectly combined Western charm, personal touches, and love-filled moments, all brought to life by their full-service wedding planner, VOLARE Planning & Design, who designed the entire weekend. They kicked things off with a chic black-and-white rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Tapatio Springs, giving out-of-town guests a fun introduction to San Antonio. Guests loved the Texas-inspired details like a churro cart, signature drinks and activities including corn hole & roping.
The ceremony took place the next day at Tapatio Springs’ serene lakeside ceremony location. Sarah shared a special first look with her dad and brothers before a private moment with Aaron, where they exchanged their personal vows. Aaron’s emotional reaction to seeing Sarah walk down the aisle was one of the day’s sweetest moments, and the joy on their faces as they walked back as newlyweds was contagious. Sarah looked stunning throughout the day, with flawless hair and makeup by Viva La Glam. Her girls wore silky sage green dresses, which were complemented by the groomsmen’s beige suits and Aaron’s sage green suit.
The reception continued with whimsical florals, where the altar blooms were repurposed to decorate the head table. Sarah’s handmade details, including signage and custom napkins, added a personal touch. A highlight of the evening was her hand-bedazzled cowboy hat, finished with the help of friends and family just in time for her outfit change—a symbol of the love and support surrounding the couple.
