Eleven years together deserves a celebration that’s nothing short of extraordinary, and Marcela and Mario made sure their wedding day reflected exactly that. After more than a decade of building their love story, these two brought their closest family and friends from across the country and Mexico to Marcela’s Aunt and Uncle’s stunning Boerne home for an intimate backyard celebration that was equal parts sophisticated and sentimental.

Something we absolutely love, the all-black dress code for guests created the most dramatic backdrop for Marcela and Mario’s clean white and cream design palette. Atlas Weddings & Co brought the couple’s vision to life with flawless planning and design, orchestrating a celebration that felt both luxurious and personal. Their attention to every detail ensured the day unfolded seamlessly from ceremony to sparkler-filled finale.

And when we say there were details, we mean DETAILS. Over 700 candles illuminated the sweeping backyard grounds, creating the most romantic atmosphere as the sun set over the Texas Hill Country. The candlelit reception was absolutely breathtaking, with warm flickering light transforming the outdoor space into something truly magical. Matthew Alvarado captured every stunning moment beautifully, from the ceremony’s gorgeous flower arch framing the couple, to the unique seating chart and candlelit reception that guests won’t soon forget.

Cocktail hour was elevated to an art form with Ylsse Fernandez & Co‘s stunning charcuterie cart, creating an interactive culinary experience that had guests mingling and grazing in style as they took in the Hill Country views.

The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display, the perfect exclamation point on a celebration that honored both the couple’s 11-year journey and the incredible family support that made it all possible. As Marcela reflected on the planning process, she shared something truly meaningful: “I learned how important it is to truly let your fiancé in during the planning process. Some of my favorite memories are from those moments when we were brainstorming, making decisions, and watching our vision come to life as a team. Every detail felt more meaningful because we built it side by side.

Her favorite moment captures everything about why they kept their guest list intimate: “It was during our first dance—just looking around and realizing that all our favorite people in the world were in one room, there for us.” The connection to family ran even deeper with the venue choice. Marcela’s aunt and uncle actually began construction on their home earlier than planned specifically so the couple could get married there, with Uncle Tony jokingly telling Mario they couldn’t tie the knot until the house was finished. Watching both the home and the wedding come together felt like pure magic.
