Beauty abounds at The McNay Art Museum, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival residence that has been transformed into Texas’s first modern art museum. We love how VOLARE Planning & Design used the architecture and history of the museum as inspiration for The Stantons wedding – creating a design that complemented the couple and the venue’s historic integrity, while leaning into the museum’s iconic Talavera tiles as a central design theme.
The Talavera-inspired design came to life from the bridesmaids masterfully mixed prints to small details like the table numbers to larger moments like the custom printed dance floor & bar facade by Scarlet Rose Collective. The stunning tablescapes included vibrant florals in shades of orange by Statue of Design and luxe brocade linens by BBJ La Tavola, all complemented with natural wood tones from Bright Rentals‘ bistro chairs & Cat Haus Designs woven jute chargers.

Another fun touch unique to the couple? Frances + Paul ditched sparklers and streamers and instead opted for a grand exit through their guests shaking colorful maracas while Jordan Kahn Orchestra’s Manhattan Band played a festive song.
