Sunni and William couldn’t have picked a more perfect day to say “I do” than Valentine’s Day itself! Their Hotel Emma wedding was a dreamy celebration that embraced the holiday of love with the most gorgeous red, white, and pink palette we’ve ever seen. Silver Thistle Events brought their Valentine’s vision to life with playful, modern elements like hearts and cupids woven throughout the design, creating a celebration that felt both romantic and fresh.
The couple exchanged vows in Hotel Emma’s stunning amphitheater space right on the River Walk , where Sunni experienced one of those unexpected wedding day surprises. When she turned the corner to walk down the aisle with her dad, there were so many onlookers cheering for her – the perfect light hearted moment for this couple that knows how to have fun. When we asked about their favorite moment, both Sunni and William didn’t hesitate: reading their vows to each other surrounded by their closest loved ones (and a few strangers!) was pure perfection.
Golden Dreams Florals absolutely knocked it out of the park with breathtaking arrangements that brought the Valentine’s theme to life in the most sophisticated way with fluffy hydrangeas and whimsical posies. The vibrant pinks and reds felt perfectly romantic without being over-the-top, while modern design touches like textured ribbons tied in bows kept everything feeling contemporary and chic.
And can we talk about Sunni’s beloved “flower grandma”? She threw rose petals down the aisle & became an instant crowd favorite, adding the sweetest touch to an already perfect day.
After the riverside ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with passed cocktails in retro glassware and then dined on a gourmet meal in the Elephant Cellar. We were also completely obsessed with the wedding cake by Bird Bakery, a multi-tier vintage masterpiece topped with sweetheart swans!
