There’s a special kind of magic in a wedding where you can genuinely feel the trust between a couple and their vendor team. Emily and Brad’s celebration at Ivy Hall Events had that feeling woven into every part of the day. Their approach, letting go and leaning fully into the expertise of their team, became the key to creating something even more meaningful than they first imagined.
Emily began her wedding day in one of the beautiful Historic Suites at the Kimpton Santo San Antonio – Riverwalk, setting a calm and intentional tone for everything that followed. Reflecting on her planning experience, she shared, “I really learned the value of a great planner! Trust the professionals! They know what they are doing! I also learned the importance of letting go of control and trusting your vision with the vendors you choose! Everything always comes together.”
Scarlet Rose Events didn’t just organize the day, they shaped an experience that felt like Emily and Brad from the inside out. Their thoughtful approach, paired with custom rentals and signage by Scarlet Rose Collective, resulted in details that quietly elevated every moment, nothing forced, nothing overdone, just a celebration that felt natural, warm, made guests stop and smile because it just feelt right.
The garden-inspired ceremony was a standout thanks to Piper Rose Floral Designs. Their installation was lush, textured, and full of movement, turning the ceremony site into a vibrant, living backdrop. Emily’s bouquet mirrored this aesthetic beautifully, with soft, romantic blooms that blended color and texture without overwhelming the look. The bridesmaids carried smaller, complementary bouquets that tied the palette together and enhanced the mix-and-match dresses in shades of pink, green, and light blue, an effortlessly cohesive moment that felt fresh and modern.
For the tented reception, Bright Event Rentals delivered an atmosphere guests won’t soon forget. From the elegant tent and romantic draping to the café lighting, linens, and refined place settings, every element worked together to create a setting that was both elevated and welcoming.
One of Emily’s favorite moments captures the heart of the day perfectly: “I loved getting to be a part of cocktail hour and have the time to socialize with the people celebrating with us! The first time I saw the venue set up was a highlight as well! It was my vision brought to life better than I could’ve imagined.”
