“For the wedding, we wanted something unexpected yet elegant for our nearly 400 guests,” Grayson shared. “We hosted a black-tie celebration at the beautiful Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, which provided the perfect balance of architectural drama and refined sophistication. The venue’s modern, striking design created an unforgettable backdrop for a formal evening that felt both elevated and deeply personal.”
From the moment guests arrived, every detail reinforced that vision. A breathtaking outdoor ceremony unfolded beneath the palms, where lush white florals lined the aisle and framed the couple’s first kiss as newlyweds. Later, the celebration moved inside the Tobin Center’s grand concert hall, where an oversized crystal chandelier floated above a custom monogrammed dance floor, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration.
One of the day’s greatest strengths was its intentional design. The ceremony’s romantic elegance seamlessly transitioned into a reception that felt bold, dramatic, and impeccably curated. Layers of candlelight, cascading white florals, refined black-and-white details, and thoughtfully selected rentals transformed the expansive performance hall into an intimate celebration. Bright Event Rentals and Freesia Designs played an integral role in bringing the couple’s vision to life, creating a reception that felt polished from every angle while allowing the Tobin Center’s architecture to remain a focal point.
“The décor and details were one of the most meaningful parts of the entire celebration,” Grayson said. “Every element felt intentional and deeply personal, from the overall design direction to the smallest finishing touches. It all came together in a way that felt cohesive and immersive, creating an atmosphere that was both elevated and unforgettable. There wasn’t a single detail missed—every space felt thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed, making the experience feel truly special from start to finish.”
The personalized details continued throughout the evening. Guests were welcomed with sophisticated paper goods and custom signage created by The Girl General, while Full Spectrum Ice Sculptures introduced a playful twist to cocktail hour with a custom ice luge that quickly became one of the night’s most memorable conversation pieces. Behind the scenes, Veil Artistry ensured Grayson and her wedding party looked effortlessly polished, creating timeless hair and makeup looks that perfectly complemented the celebration’s elevated aesthetic.
As the evening unfolded beneath sparkling chandeliers and a packed dance floor, it became clear that every design choice served a greater purpose: creating an experience guests would never forget.
