✨ Vows That Wow: Each month, our editors review dozens of San Antonio weddings and select the best of the best to feature as our Vows that Wow.

Some love stories come full circle in the most beautiful ways, and Halle and Jordan’s wedding celebration was exactly that kind of magic. The couple exchanged vows at the historic San Fernando Cathedral before making their way to The Witte Museum – a childhood favorite they transformed into the backdrop of an unforgettable celebration with show-stopping style.

Sweet August Events turned Halle’s vision into a breathtaking reality, designing a day that perfectly balanced polished elegance with the couple’s playful personalities. “Your wedding planner is a lifesaver!” Halle shared. “Trusting someone to execute my dream wedding was a little scary, however I knew there was nothing to fear the moment I met with Sweet August Events.

The design elements of their wedding day were undeniably gorgeous. Freesia Designs elevated the space with captivating floral chandeliers and lush tablescapes that created an enchanted garden feel indoors. Serpentine tables flowed throughout the reception space, while a custom black and white striped dance floor from Laced Vinyl Shoppe added a graphic modern pop.

The Girl General created a cohesive design story throughout the celebration, featuring a custom crest that was beautifully projected in the reception space and appeared on everything from invitations and menus to coasters and napkins. Their playful touches included custom matches, napkins with gossip from their dog’s point of view, drink stirrers featuring their beloved pet, and custom cups with Halle’s candid message: “You’d better be dancing because I’d much rather be in bed.

Culinary excellence came courtesy of Rosemary’s Catering, who went above and beyond with incredible cuisine, perfectly crafted espresso martinis that kept the energy flowing, and their sculpted ice display inspired by the couple’s sweet pup—an unexpected work of art that had guests talking all night. Cakes by Cathy Young created a stunning cake covered in delicate sugar flowers that was a true centerpiece of the evening.

Halle and her bridesmaids looked absolutely radiant with flawless makeup by Veil Artistry. Adding to the fashion-forward celebration, both Halle and her mother wore stunning custom-designed gowns by Nardos—the bride’s reception look was a perfect complement to her ceremony style, while her mother’s elegant pink gown was a showstopper in its own right.

Esther Makau Photography captured every luminous moment with her signature style, beautifully documenting the emotion and joy throughout the day. From intimate getting-ready moments to the energy on the dance floor, her eye for light and genuine connection was evident in every single shot.

The celebration wouldn’t have been complete without a few special experiences for guests. MBP Photo Booth added an interactive element with their audio guest book, letting loved ones leave heartfelt messages for the newlyweds. Guests were treated to watching IMPRESSIONIST Texas Wedding Painting create a live masterpiece during the celebration, resulting in a timeless keepsake for the couple.

But perhaps the most memorable surprise? The Spurs Coyote made a special guest appearance during the reception to honor Jordan’s love for the team! The night ended perfectly with late-night Mama Margie’s bean and cheese tacos – because nothing says a San Antonio celebration like some of the best tacos in town.

When asked about their favorite moment, the couple didn’t hesitate: their private last dance in the very museum where they’d spent countless childhood days. “It was the perfect way to end our perfect day,” Halle said. Sometimes the most beautiful celebrations happen when you return to where your story began 💕
