Vows That Wow: Each month, our editors review dozens of San Antonio weddings and select the best of the best to feature as our Vows that Wow. ✨

Yvette and Seve Trujillo’s wedding was the perfect mix of classic elegance and modern whimsy. The couple celebrated in style at The Witte Museum, infusing their day with personal touches and cultural traditions that honored their heritage. A bold black-and-white design by Scarlet Rose Events and a dance floor that never emptied while Gaines Entertainment brought the energy made their day truly unforgettable.

Yvette was an absolute vision in an embellished strapless gown by Mexican couture designer Tiscareno Bridal Couture, complete with a dramatic overskirt and Jimmy Choo heels. Her beloved pup, Dexter, was by her side while getting ready & we are living for the photos of the handsome guy. Seve also looked dapper in a custom suit by local San Antonio clothier Limatus Bespoke.

Yvette and Seve began their journey as husband and wife with a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Matthew Catholic Church, honoring their faith and family. They each wore sentimental family photos tucked into the bouquet & boutonniere. The moment Seve saw Yvette walking down the aisle became one of their most cherished memories of the day.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to a stylish and sophisticated reception in The Mays Family Center by mariachi on the museum lawn. “We come from big traditional Hispanic families,” Yvette shared. “It was important to bring our culture alive with a Mariachi band during cocktail hour and Latin music on the dance floor!”

As guests moved indoors, Scarlet Rose’s elevated design dropped jaws. Guests were greeted by a beautifully designed seating chart and a museum-inspired engagement photo gallery. But the magic really happened inside the ballroom. The black and white aesthetic balanced modern elements—like sleek ghost chairs from Bright Event Rentals and mature orchid stems by The Vintage Bouquet—with timeless touches such as a checkered dance floor and champagne tower.

Speaking of the dance floor, the couple knew it would be the heart of their celebration and it was nothing short of spectacular. A custom sparkling ceiling installation made the space glitter when the lights dropped low, while Gaines Entertainment kept the energy high with an incredible music selection. Yvette told us: “Our DJ was the best thing we could have ever asked for. One of our top priorities was making sure our dance floor was never empty and he did not disappoint! Seve and I, along with our family and friends, never left the dance floor.”

Instead of a traditional cake, the couple opted for a yummy nod to their culture – Tres Leches slices provided by their caterer True Flavors. As a thoughtful gesture for their guests, the couple provided personalized slippers & stylish sippy cups with their monogram, both practical and fun keepsakes from the night.

Photography was a top priority for The Trujillos, who wanted to be sure each emotional moment of the day was preserved forever. Sarah Tribett did an incredible job capturing every beautiful moment possible. We’re not big on posing, but we love a great candid shot!” Yvette said. Some of our favorite photos of the couple were snapped around their creamy classic car provided by ETI Transportation, but scroll through the gallery below to see them all!
