Inside the Cover Wedding of Wed Society San Antonio’s 2026 Book of Weddings
Our 2026 Book of Weddings has officially arrived, and we couldn’t imagine a more fitting celebration of San Antonio weddings than the story gracing this year’s cover.
From the moment Catherine stepped inside San Fernando Cathedral wearing a custom Phillipa Lepley gown, it was clear this wedding was something extraordinary. Combining timeless European elegance with the rich history and charm of San Antonio, Catherine and Blaine created a celebration that perfectly embodies what Wed Society San Antonio stands for: intentional design, meaningful experiences, and an incredible team of local creatives bringing every detail to life.
Their March wedding seamlessly blended iconic architecture, couture fashion, and thoughtful hospitality into a celebration that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
A Ceremony Rooted in San Antonio History
The couple exchanged vows at the historic San Fernando Cathedral, one of San Antonio’s most beloved landmarks. The grandeur of the cathedral served as the perfect backdrop for a ceremony that honored tradition while embracing modern sophistication.
As Catherine made her entrance, every detail worked together effortlessly. Her custom Phillipa Lepley gown, one of London’s most coveted couture labels, paired beautifully with vintage Dior accessories and delicate pearl jewelry, creating a bridal look that felt timeless, refined, and entirely her own.
The Vision Behind the Celebration
At the center of it all was Sweet August Events, who expertly planned, designed, and orchestrated every element of the day. Their thoughtful approach created a cohesive experience from beginning to end, ensuring every detail felt intentional and beautifully connected.
From the ceremony to the reception, the wedding maintained a sense of effortless sophistication that carried guests through every moment of the celebration.
An Artful Reception at Coates Chapel at UTSA
Guests then transitioned to the Coates Chapel at UTSA for a reception that perfectly balanced romance and artistry. The historic venue provided an incredible canvas for layered textures, elegant details, and a design that felt both grand and inviting.
The design vision came to life thanks to the collaborative efforts of Freesia Designs and Illusions Rentals, whose decor and rental selections transformed the space into an immersive celebration.
Elizabeth Moore Designs completed the atmosphere with stunning floral arrangements that added softness, movement, and an organic elegance throughout the event.
Every Detail Thoughtfully Considered
One of the defining characteristics of this wedding was its remarkable sense of cohesion.
The Girl General crafted invitations, signage, and favors that established a beautiful visual identity from the very beginning. Each touchpoint felt connected, creating a guest experience that was polished without ever feeling overdone.
Veil Artistry delivered editorial-worthy hair and makeup that perfectly complemented Catherine’s couture-inspired bridal aesthetic, enhancing her natural beauty while ensuring every look translated beautifully on camera.
An Evening Meant for Celebrating
Of course, no unforgettable wedding is complete without incredible food and entertainment.
Rosemary’s Catering kept guests celebrating all evening long with exceptional catering and bartending services that elevated the guest experience at every turn.
As the evening progressed, Atlantic Street Band kept the energy high and the dance floor full from the first song to the final farewell, creating the kind of joyful moments guests will remember for years to come.

Meet the Photographer: Preserving Every Beautiful Moment
Capturing a wedding of this caliber requires an artistic eye, and Caroline Lima Photography documented every moment with an editorial perspective that perfectly suited the day.
From sweeping architectural portraits to intimate details, every image tells the story of a celebration that was as intentional as it was beautiful.
Squinted Cinema preserved those same emotions through motion, creating a timeless visual heirloom the couple will cherish forever.
